Hawkeyes vs Purdue

The game last Saturday was a little chilly vs Purdue. I was bundled up pretty good though and stayed warm the entire game! It was kind of neat at the game it was snowing..or it looked like miniture snow balls! This was the last game in Iowa City for the fall and this weekend we head off to MN for the Hawks vs the Golfers! Should be a good time! I am looking forward to seeing a few friends I haven't seen in awhile! Go Hawks!

Friday night we headed down to North Liberty which we do every Friday night before the game on Saturday and stay at Bill Montag's house. This weekend was extra special because my brother Nick flew back for the game! We were all super excited to see him and what a great game for him to come home and watch! Saturday the guys left for tailgating early but Luan, my mom and I didn't head to the tailgate till about 10. It was a cold day but for the most part we all stayed warm and it helped with the game being very exciting at the end!

3D Ultra Sound

Yesterday Vahn and I headed to Mason City for a 3D Ultra Sound. A doctor comes from Des Moines to do it. We were both a little nervous since the reason we were sent to Mason was to check the baby's heart. Vahn was born with a small hole in his heart but closed on its own and he had a few check ups in Iowa City when he was little and checked out fine! The doctor in Algona were I go was concerned and said that kind of thing can be passed down. Our doctor made us an appointment in Mason City November 5th at 11:30. Well we got great news with the baby's heart! Which was music to both our ears!!! The baby is doing great and is growning wonderfully! They told me I am at 24 weeks with the way everything looks. I am suppose to be at 23 weeks so we will see.

Weekend in Iowa City

TGIF!!!

It's Friday!! Since the Hawkeyes have a bye this weekend it will seem weird not going to Iowa City or listening to the game on the radio! Vahn is excited for this weekend since it is the first weekend for Pheasant Hunting! He is going to do some hunting in West Bend on Saturday morning. I will be sleeping in and probably help my mom around the house! Have a great Friday and weekend!

Ultra Sound

Last Friday October 17th, we had our ultrasound and got to take pictures home of the baby! The doctor said everything looked good and the baby was growing right on track! That was good news to hear!
