First Time to Meet Cousin Brooke

Emma all ready to go meet cousin Brooke.

Saturday we made the trip to Manchester to see Erica, Doug and Brooke. Grandpa and Grandma Schumacher were there too. Emma gave Brooke kisses and loved to look at her. I can tell that Emma will be a great Big Sister some day!

She loves to play in the water. She is all smiles now but wait till

you see the picture at the end. You see a different side of Emma one

that we never see.

Emma is pretty mad at me, I took her wet shirt off, and

said she was done playing. She was like NO MOM I am not done!

Grandma Thul picked this desk up at a sale and its perfect for Emma.

She loves to sit there and color or at least try. Its more scribbles but its a start!

In the back ground is her new book case in the shape of a doll house. It huge and will look great as soon as I get it painted. This might be a project for Grandma Thul to help us with, when she stays over in a few weeks:)

Spring Time!

Emma is enjoying the nice weather outside! She loves playing in her

sand box, with all her new toys. Emma is getting a kick out of Gus, he doesn't

seem to care too much

about her.

Visiting Grandma Schumcher and the newest Schumacher Baby

Saturday April 10, Vahn, Emma, & I made a trip to western Iowa to see Great Grandma Leva and the newest addition to the Schumacher family, baby Claire. I am not sure if Emma was excited or what but she didn't sleep too much in the car but the last 30 minutes to Battle Creek. Grandma Leva meant us at the door, she was excited to see all of us. Emma wasn't too sure what to think but soon warmed up to Great Grandma and was running around the place. It was a little windy out but we decided to head to the park. Emma loved the slide and the swings! Grandma thought she could carry Emma on the way back, Vahn said Emma was heavy, but Grandma insisted. After a few seconds Leva was here take her. I told her Emma was about 30 lbs, and she said why didn't you tell me that! It was too funny!
After we got back we had cookies and milk. Emma sat nicely on Grandma's lap, which Leva was very proud to be holding Emma. What a nice visit we had. Next, we headed to Early to see Nick, Amy, Sophia, and Baby Claire. We always have a good time with them, its too bad we don't live closer, we say that every time. Hopefully the summer we can get the girls together more often!

HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY!!!

Hard to believe its been two years already. We are blessed with a beautiful and smart little girl. We spend the night together as a family. Vahn cooked and we watch the Twins play the first game of the season, even better the Twins won! We were low key since Vahn is working 10 at night to 6 in the morning.
