Emma's doing a little praying and playing before the Bears first game!

Emma loves going into our bedroom and grabbing Vahn's rosary and watch

that are in his night stand. She loves wearing bracelets while she plays, I guess the

rosary will do too.

The Bears played Detroit in Week 1, they won,

but I wouldn't say it was pretty the entire game.

Daddy was working so we had to cheer them on

for him!

Since Vahn had to work we were unable to work at the

Wesley, Church Supper. I had to take two homemade pies, 4 jars filled with goodies

up to the community center the morning of the event. When I was little, my mom,

aunt Carla and I would help my Grandma Thul make pies. I decided to follow her

recipes this year, wow what a job making the homemade crust, and making everything from

scratch. They looked and smelled good, hopefully they tasted good too!
