BOSTON!

Wednesday early morning the flu hit our house...or me anyway! Thankfully my mom was able to come over and help me with the girls when Vahn went to work at 1PM. It took everything I had to hold Grace and just feed her. Thankfully the next day I was feeling somewhat better but Vahn wasn't. Thursday morning he called and said he was leaving work he didn't feel well! Oh great! We decided to have my mom take Emma back to West Bend hoping she wouldn't get it and help us get some more rest. Friday morning at 3:30 AM Vahn got ready to head to Boston to help Ben move out there. Vahn wasn't sure if he was going to make it but he did. Now its later Friday morning and I get a call from my dad...my mom now has the flu!!!!! Can this week get any worse! I head to meet my cousin Chelsea in Algona to pick up Emma...so far Emma hasn't got it. Let's pray she doesn't! Now both my parents have the flu! The weekend I had planned isn't turing out but the good news is Vahn is feeling better and gets to enjoy his trip with his dad and brother. Thank you LORD! Darrell took out his camera so hopefully I can post some pictures of their trip when they get back.

I am ready for the weekend to be over and everyone to be healthy again! I guess when you don't leave the house you still can get the germs and get sick!!! When Vahn gets home I know I will be ready to be out and about for awhile....haven't left the house for too long since Tuesday!
Vahn and I wanted to visit Maine for our honeymoon but the weather wasn't great in April. I can't wait to visit Ben in Boston then drive up the coast to Maine someday. It's only 4 hours which I am sure is a beauitful drive!

Now with having both our bothers leaving states away is sad but glad they both have good jobs and get to experience a different part the country! We will have to start saving so we can go visit both of them. I know they will enjoy seeing the girls!
